Like {{Annotated link}}, but for biographies with the |dash=, and |prefix_parentheses=y options pre-set.
The |abbr= parameter can be used to add years in parentheses.
You could also add the parentheses in the {{short description}} of the target article, but note that per WP:SDDATES this can vary for biographies, in which case annotated biography links in lists of people can use this option to add lifetime dates to make the lists consistent per . See Module:Annotated link#prefix parentheses.
